It was a sunny day at the stadium today. The intense heat made it hard for players relying on strength or speed to shine. On the other hand, it provided perfect conditions for the more technical players. The following players took the field: Negretti - Pirol, Evtimov - Paro, Al-Thahri, Poppeck, Vida, Shalev - Štach, Shareef, Meuwly.

The following players had been chosen: Jora - Marinov, Štrafėlas - Cunha Silva, Veirman, Koskinen, Uverskiy, Berraja - Berrocal, Tapia, Hötte.

Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 2-5-3 formation. Pats demonstrated their divine (+1) creative tactics on the field. Dmitry Uverskiy's fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for Rumen Evtimov. The keeper wasn't fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball. Pats fans held their breath as Petr Štach scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! 39 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mahmood Shareef broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Pats. Jami Koskinen of Chesterton received a yellow card after 40 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Mark Hötte neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to Zeferino Cunha Silva who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. 42 minutes into the game, Pats were awarded a penalty that Gandulf Pirol turned into 3 - 0 without a problem. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Pats claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Cheers filled the stadium as Oli Meuwly broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Pats. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Vladimir Vida squirmed through their central defence after 64 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Pats's Mahmood Shareef increased the lead to 6 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 66 minutes. Zeferino Cunha Silva managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Tauro Tapia was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Pats scored another to make it 7 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Rumen Evtimov after 75 minutes. Chesterton had a magnificent opportunity after 76 minutes as Jami Koskinen hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Vasil Marinov from Chesterton a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 77 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Mahmood Shareef increased the lead for Pats to 8 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At that, Mahmood Shareef was noted down for a hat trick! The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 minute beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 8 - 0. Pats enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Most important Pats player was Oli Meuwly. Gandulf Pirol on the other hand, had a terrible day. Jami Koskinen performed admirably for Chesterton. Tomas Štrafėlas was a disappointment, however.
