Team 2 - 3 Nuvolera

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and One Eye Arena saw a crowd turnout of 11805. Lassi Åkerblom was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paolo Speciale and Luca Orpo. Lineup: Franceschilli - Gahleitner, Germanà, Wilmes - Bach, Galdi, Piròli, Leonhardsen, Riolfatti - Olsen, Gleichheit.

The following players took the field: Tropotei - Scattone, Uggeri, Elettrico, Falbo - Bongiolatti, Vendramin, Nowitzki, Rospigliosi - Oppedisano, Tormettino.

One Eye Team fielded a 3-5-2 lineup. For A.C Nuvolera, the formation of choice was 4-4-2. Nuvolera were relying on their formidable ability to counter-attack. Team nearly produced a goal as Maximilian Gleichheit set up Karsten Bach for a strike from a seemingly impossible angle. However he put the shot narrowly wide. Team could have put themselves ahead after 21 minutes but Johan Wilmes missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Gene Rospigliosi knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 0 - 1 after 22 minutes. Team tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. 34 minutes into the game, Vito Falbo finished off a Nuvolera left wing counterattack, making the score 0 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Team, with 66 percent of the ball.

Team didn't give in and with 55 minutes played Maximilian Gleichheit was able to make the score 1 - 2 after an attack on the right. Having taken a hard knock between his legs, Silverio Uggeri limped off the pitch in a reduced state of dignity. He could not continue, managing only 61 minutes for his team this day. The player that took his place was Floriano Delliponti. Gene Rospigliosi was handed the Nuvolera captain's armband. The counterattacks of Nuvolera were deadly and 63 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Oppedisano received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 1 - 3. Andrea Scattone was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 65 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. This gave Marco Corsi a chance to take to the field instead. With 69 minutes played, Marco Corsi nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The goal for 2 - 3 was a funny story: after 69 minutes the seemingly nonchalant lob from Team's Maximilian Gleichheit landed at the feet of Jan Olsen who sidefooted it into the net - nice goal! Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Team's Wolfram Gahleitner was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes. Tomas Frauenthaler was given a chance to change things around. Wolfram Gahleitner was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that Tomas Frauenthaler got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. With 70 minutes played, the Team coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Umberto Mazzuoli came on, Jan Olsen had to leave the fray. The cannonball from 35 metres by Maximilian Gleichheit of Team was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Team needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes Pietro Antonio Germanà made way for Gigi Antoldi. 80 minutes in, Team's Umberto Mazzuoli received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. The match ends 2 - 3. Team had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

The most dominating Team player was without a doubt Umberto Mazzuoli. However, Gigi Antoldi made a disastrous appearance. Nuvolera's top performer was clearly Giulio Tormettino. Marco Corsi was a disappointment, however.
